Dear @NGRPresident,
You can’t in good faith say that our prisons have been decongested by the claimed release of 2600 inmates
Let start by been truthful for once if we have to talk about integrity. It was claimed that 70 inmates were released from Kuje Prisons when in actual https://twitter.com/NGRPresident/status/1248233465100808192

fact only 32 inmates were released in the entire prison in FCT which include Suleja Prison, Dukpa Prison in Gwagwalada and Kuje Prison.
Those released were all convicted inmates, 4 lifers in Kuje prison and 3 aged men, 10 released from Suleja Prison, comprises of 9 males and

1 female.
The rest are from Dukpa Prison in Gwagwalada.
Those release in Kuje are Staff Sgt Mathias, Cpl Alex, Cpl Bawa, Cpl Moses, all were sentenced to lifer since 2008, in a case that is related to Henry Okah and arms deal.

decongest the Prison so we have all of them behind bars as we speak.
Out of the 11,850 convicted inmates, it is claimed that 2600 have been released and if we go by what have been release so far in FCT, we can say for certain that we would be fortunate if 1300 inmates are

In all honesty this is an insult to our collective intelligence.
The Presidency doesn’t have integrity enough to tell the Country the truth and playing with a possible COVID-19 out break in our Prisons
This is so sad

Intel reaching us indicates that amongst the claimed 2600 inmates released nationwide, only 4 would be released from Maximum Security Prison Kirikiri and one of them was the Naval Captain who shot an Okada guy that scratched his car some years back at Allen Road, Ikeja, Lagos.
We are further intimated that amongst the 4 to be released, 3 are military men.
Everything about this claimed decongestion doesn’t sit well with reasonableness and we will get the the bottom of this matter for transparency sake

#Update Prisons Decongestion
It is sad and clearly undermines our collective intelligence that media outfits are not investigating the claimed 2600 inmates that @NGRPresident have ordered to be released. What Prisons are these inmates and when would they be released
