4& #39;s preschool teacher just sent out this week& #39;s lesson plan, and it& #39;s pretty heavy.

I am...not thrilled? Wife and I are already covering daycare for 3 and working fulltime jobs: adding in synchronous learning for a squirmy four year old may just push us beyond the pale.
There is a large portion of the service sector that hasn& #39;t internalized the fact that care patterns have changed drastically in the last month or so.

The new normal cannot just be "the old normal, but on Zoom."

I can& #39;t imagine what& #39;s going on in households that don& #39;t have fulltime in-home care.
