4's preschool teacher just sent out this week's lesson plan, and it's pretty heavy.

I am...not thrilled? Wife and I are already covering daycare for 3 and working fulltime jobs: adding in synchronous learning for a squirmy four year old may just push us beyond the pale.
There is a large portion of the service sector that hasn't internalized the fact that care patterns have changed drastically in the last month or so.

The new normal cannot just be "the old normal, but on Zoom."
Oh: I have a fulltime nanny!

I can't imagine what's going on in households that don't have fulltime in-home care.
