hi everyone ive been getting a few DMs asking about my flight school. I’m at Florida Flyers and I’ve only been here for about a month now and so far I’ve already done 4 solo haha. The way it works here is that you do online ground school to prep for the written exam

(and the written exam is just called written exam tapi it’s multiple choice hahah). at the same time you fly with your instructor to start getting your hours. So tak ikut classroom like in high school. If your instructor thinks you’re ready to solo after 10 hours then solo lah

So how fast you finish and everything completely depends on you. If you wanna fly straight 7 days a week then you can. If you want to only do 3 flights a week you could probably do that. I heard someone got their license in like 7 months.

the only requirements to get in is you have to be at least like 17 years old and proficient in english. And then once you reach here they’ll ask you to do med test and that was the only test i had to do before i start flying lol other than visa of course

I was looking around for flight school with my dad before deciding on florida flyers. if you’re thinking on going for flying school take in consideration their location, instructor to student ratio and what license you want to take

The fee in total is around 300k, which is probably around the same as Malaysia but don’t quote me on that haha. Im on the pay as you go program, with total hours of 250 if im not mistaken

And yes they have a malaysian student hahaha one only so far and 3 indonesians including me lol but its a multinational school its fun and a very friendly environment

Its also really easy to enroll we just texted the contact person on their website lol and they’ll help you with visa and everything. Also so far i have like 20++ hours of flying. Not sure of the exact numbers tho dah brp hari tak check logbook sbb tk terbang hee hee

let me clarify again yg the only requirements you need is to be at least 17, with proficient english!! I got 6As spm and did a year of foundation and they didnt even ask for any results lolll. Also im 19 going on 20 this year. Blehhh old

Also i am not malaysian. So i am unfamiliar with license conversions for Malaysia. But my malaysian friends are taking the european EASA instead of FAA
