Thread in response to the Kotaku article on Nazis in games. Watching the social conditioning play out is interesting. The response of "Just following orders" mocking the so-called "Nuremberg Defense" when someone says that Nazis were human is a glaring example of conditioning. https://twitter.com/TKDancerr/status/1248172267625906176
I have heard this on TV and in movies for years, as well as heard people say it in conversation. People that say this know nothing about the war or the Nuremberg trials. This is social programming instilled from a young age.
One wonders if the "Just following orders" defense would be accepted for the people that carried out the Nuremberg trials themselves, in which bogus confessions were extracted from defendants who were imprisoned and tortured for 2 years.
The post WWII trials were so bad, that many American lawyers and jurists resigned and refused to take part in such a farce. The Jews never forgave Joe McCarthy for exposing the Dachau trials as a farce, leading to the commutation of 12 death sentences of top Waffen-SS men.
Hilariously, one of the commuted death sentences was Joachim Peiper, whose image is featured on many video game and book covers because of his dashing good looks. The US military even recently used his image in a commemoration of the Battle of the Bulge, leading to Jew freakouts.
