So I had tested positive for this shit yesterday. I had been feeling sick for a week, terrible cough. I got a letter saying I had a low risk exposure to it. That pushed me to go ahead and get the test. Positive which is what I expected.
I am feeling completely fine now. My regular self. I had a mild case and it was still terrible. We need TESTING. Ppl are walking around asymptomatic then symptoms just hit them like me. ESSENTIAL STAFF NEED HAZARD PAY. I GOT THIS SHIT AT WORK
This impacts my family because I come into the house from work and who knows what I got on me. I’m thankful to have access to healthcare so that I could confirm. What if I didn’t? I’m currently isolating myself at home. Haven’t had symptoms since Monday.
Since I got my test results Wednesday, they suggesting using that date and monitoring yourself. If you go 72 hours with no symptoms you should be good. I’ve gone that long but will give myself until Saturday. But how do I really know I’m good?
This pandemic is reactive bullshit and we are not on top of it as a country. Everyone should be tested. Period.
As I said though I’m doing fine. I’m thankful. I feel like my regular self today. Hopefully it stays that way.
