honestly neither the bernie or bust nor vote blue no matter who positions are very coherent, they both represent extremes that turn most voters into ineffective agents. if your vote is unwinnable OR won by default, your ability to apply any kind of collective pressure is done.
seen people refer to both positions as “emotional”, but they both make some sense. trump moved the overton window. what that means is, if the dems know they have total support by default, this is prime opportunity to push a candidate they know’d be garbage any other time.
by the same token, if they know the left will never even consider them unless they get behind a candidate which they absolutely know they won’t go for, why bother trying to appeal to them?

I get both positions, but neither work as an absolute maxim.
I’d encourage leftists not to try to make this some sectarian conflict. if you think biden is a better alt to trump (as I do), do the work, explain why, and realise as is often the case that some people will not budge from their position (and in this case have good reason).
oh, and uh, try to avoid calling people from either position a subhuman. or just in general, avoid calling people subhumans. yeah
