May I ask for help? An artwork of a friend of mine got reposted without any credits on Amino. My friend has POLITELY asked them to credit her properly, and his/her response was.. not good.
They only said, “You do understand that this is a Brazillian community, right?” Which gives us impression that posting an artwork or anything on other platform is TOTALLY OKAY, which is actually is not fine at all. Of course it is very offensive to my friend.
Worse, up until now, they still haven’t credited her and 31 other artists whose artworks are being reposted as well.
The artwork was a part of a competition. Even my friend DOES NOT HAVE ANY RIGHTS TO SELL NOR COMMERCIALISE IT because it was part of the rules.
Up until now, UP UNTIL NOW, they still HAVEN’T GIVEN MY FRIEND ANY CREDIT. My friend has tried to report this to Amino, but sadly Amino doesn’t have any feature to report copyright infringement. She will try to email the company tomorrow morning.
