1. The novel Corona virus 2019 (nCovid-19) is not the end of the world. It's a wake up and Clarion call to us all that we must take deliberate actions to invest in our public health system. We must invest in infrastructure and more importantly invest in nurses and midwives,
2. ... build their capacities and support them not only to perform to the optimum level of their functioning but also to bring more of them from the the bedside in the clinical sites to the boardroom where policies are formulated and critical decisions are taken...
3. We must consciously demand accountability from our leaders in the private and public sectors to be more responsible to issues that will ensure our collective interests are taken care of. We must make them realize the importance of placing the people and planet over profit.
4. @nannm_nigeria president, @AAbdrafiu continues his advocacy efforts, facility visits and on the spot assessment of situation particularly as it regards welfare of nurses and midwives. @channelstv and LUTH were the port of call today.
