In the past week I've seen celebrities, middle-class acquaintances and successful journalists all angrily rant about people they deem to be 'selfishly flouting lockdown rules', all from the comfort of their own gardens

Why aren't we discussing the fact that lockdown measures aren't as easy for everyone? What if you don't have the luxury of a garden? What if you're stuck at home with an abusive partner? What if you live alone and struggle with your mental health? #COVID19 #UK

We should all be using this pandemic as an opportunity to be kinder to others, to reflect on social inequalities, and to check our own privilege. Pointing the finger at those already disproportionately impacted by COVID-19 is certainly not the answer #COVID19 #UK #inequality
