As the number of positive COVID19 cases increases around Somalia, it’s important the FGS to take action and Somalis to understand their role in slowing the spread of the disease .

One of the ways to save lives & to stop the spread of #coronavirus is social distance. Meetings are going on. Top government officials should start it from their-self and other will follow. Top to bottom approach seems to be crucial.

There are questions about COVID-19 & whether prayers should continue or not in congregation. The Prophet (PBUH) said "ppl should not travel to places known to be afflicted with illness & advised those in contaminated areas not to leave & spread the disease further afield

The Government should come up with tough measures to close doors to daily prayers in mosques which can attract hundreds of worshippers particularly for the Friday prayer, Jumu’ah. Mecca was shut down. Clerics issued advisory that people should pray at home.
