@GovHolcomb I respectfully ask that you reconsider your position on allowing bars to sell packaged house-made cocktails. The bar landscape has changed over the last decade and bars like mine (voted one of the best in the country) are dead in the water without 1/5
the ability to sell them in the marketplace. The notion that cocktails are somehow different from beer and wine in their intended purpose is an antiquated idea. Why should breweries be allowed to fill a vessel with alcohol made on or off premises 2/5
and wineries be afforded the same right, while cocktail bars are not? We’re all performing the same function through different means, but somehow one is illegal. Please allow bars to craft cocktails, package them with proof statements and ingredient labels 3/5
If indiana desires to be a place where business thrives, we need to be able to attract top level talent from a competitive global pool. Our liquor laws have been holding this state back for decades in this regard. 4/5
We find ourselves in a unique position to modernize our views on alcohol and create a place people want to live. Please give my business the same chance at success as other alcohol related businesses in the state. Respectfully, Neal Brown 5/5
