women willingly choosing to stay home rather than work is any society's greatest achievement

if they forego economic freedom to find more meaning at home, it means great meaning pervades the society at all levels, clear evidence of spectacular cultural and social logic operating

yes a lot of this decision is about economics, but not all of it

not all rich societies can keep their women at home

because they are economically rich, but socially and culturally poor

every fundamental thing is fractal in nature

just like a person has a family upbringing, the society brings up all families inside it

the person reflects his family and every family reflects its society

a family reflects a society therefore these basic questions of what meaning a mother finds in her baby, what meaning she finds in her job, what idea she has about home, they are only partially her opinion, much of this is decided by society

individualism is a cruel lie

that's why one reason societies fail to keep women at home, there's just not enough meaning there
