So I saw a tweet claiming that Yang dropped out due to being promised a cabinet position. I had to do some research into see if that was accurate.

It's based on a podcast episode of The Breakfast Club in which Yang states there was talk of him having a place in the admin.
However, there is no corroborating evidence (that I've found) supporting any promise or that the 'place in the admin' is a cabinet position.

I could be wrong, please let me know if so.
It really concerns me that the left is falling for these sensationalized tweets. This one got a ton of activity.
We have to be better than this. This election is too important.
I know it hurts when your candidate drops out. I still believe Warren was the best choice. But the reality is that she didn't amass enough support. Same with others who have dropped out.
Moderate candidates with no clear path forward coalescing behind another moderate candidate who won big in the first southern state is not a conspiracy.
Again, I understand the pain. That was me when Warren dropped out. But we are a party of facts and logic, please use it.
