also if you're still managing to somehow make yourself feel bad abt not going out for a healthy socially distanced walk like you 'should' bc going out has always been hard remember you're saving actual lives including your own by not being able to force urself into it now, ENJOY!
AND ANOTHER THING! lay your ass down! productivity means something different now! RESTING IS PRODUCTIVE AND WE ARE SYSTEMATICALLY DENIED IT. fuck comin out of this w draft 1 of a novel or a new body bitch come out of it replenished & ready to get to it when the light turn green
and if you're having trouble resting it's bc society/capitalism/generational trauma fucks w our relationship to rest & sees it as weak and ~unproductive~ so don't yell at yourself for it. i had to be taught, learn it & practice it at like 35 yrs old
i have so many ideas and tips and tricks i wanna share when i can but til then, go easy on yourself. also if the current conditions allow, lots of therapists are now moving to online meetings so maybe now is a good time to dedicate urself to finding one. you're worth it!
now if you'll excuse me im gonna get to today's act of dissociation: spooling all 58592294 skeins of yarn i have into cute lil waffle balls BY HAND bc hiding from the current reality is still my jam. love y'all byeeeeeeeee!
