Gzbz, What do you want from CL1? I want a full proper western pop star era and concept (with great promo) like what Dua is doing but combined w the normal kpop extras
So she’d start with a buzz single or two and then the lead. For the album—all written, produced, and composed by her of course—you’d be able to buy a photo book and polaroids that go along with it, extra stuff like that
I’ve said this before, but what’ll be most important to the quality of her music and success is that her label give her full artistic control over everything. CL knows who she is, what she has to offer, and how best to do it
Getting into the specifics of promo, I want radio and print interviews, RS cover, Vogue cover, late night show performances and her doing the fun segments, SNL, her being more active on all SM platforms (she’d have to get a tiktok), and PERFORMANCES
In an ideal world she’d release a self titled Beyoncé album with music videos for each song and she’d get a Netflix doc too, but I know she’s creative enough to do something fresh and innovative for her album
That’s reliant on her having artistic control tho, again. I also want her to perform at various festivals (that aren’t Diplo type stuff). Coachella would be awesome and she would do so well in that type of environment with her stage presence
There’s the smaller shows that she should get on like the IHeartRadio festival and I think in the UK Capital Radio has a summertime ball. Obviously she needs award show performances too, BBMA, VMAs, PCAs, GRAMMYS hopefully
SXSW would be a great venue for her too. A pipe dream would be her getting a big movie soundtrack that’d be nominated for an Oscar and then she’d get to perform at the award show and get film twitter to stan too
Also fashion. I want her to use her fashion connections (& all her industry connections in general) and bring fashion week CL back. That’s good indirect promo on stan twitter
Last thing, I want the album to have 12 standard tracks and then 18 on the deluxe version. She’ll tour obviously, and it better be worldwide. I’d rather she do smaller venues than open for a bigger artist too
