Time for a public confession in the hope it voices what others are thinking: I am finding it really hard to read with a view to acquiring at the moment. In theory, this is an excellent time to be reading submissions. But, apart from how busy and uncertain our jobs are...1/2

I just don't have the sense of hopefulness it takes to read, nor the concentration. Acquiring is an act of faith, I think, and my faith is shaken. For now, please forgive me agents and authors! It will be back, and soon I will be reading again I am sure!
