Whatever "faith crisis" Western Muslims face is mostly self inflicted. You feel constant need to fit in and sugarcoat your deen or justify its laws to mushriks. You leave your kids under the care of disbelievers for their education. Don't cry about faith crisis to me.

Best Western Muslims I knew were converts who left everything behind to go to a foreign Muslim country and learn Arabic and study Islam for years and preach it and residing with Muslims and working hard to earn an honest living and raising kids there.
