Let& #39;s create an open discussion. All opinions welcome. Should the UFC still continue to put on events during a pandemic? See, I& #39;m very torn about this. I think it& #39;s pretty god damn reckless to do so. People saying that they will have to put it on under very strict guidelines 1/
are missing the point in my opinion. There is only so much you can control. Even if you limit the amount of people in any given room, and eliminate any superfluous production elements, you still can& #39;t control who any of the people involved come into contact with. They say 2/
it can take up to 2 weeks to show symptoms, let alone the people who can be asymptomatic and still carry it. But on the other hand, from the fighters& #39; perspectives, I totally get why everyone& #39;s jumping at the opportunity to make a paycheck. They don& #39;t get paid until they fight 3/
so of course they would want to earn a living. I am out of work due to this pandemic, but if my employer called me and said "Hey, want to come in and do a job for money?" I& #39;d say "when do you need me?" almost without hesitation. And I get the entertainment aspect. 4/
We& #39;ve gone what feels like an eternity without fights, and will no doubt relish the opportunity to watch sanctioned violence live. I& #39;ve gone on the record saying I will be ordering this PPV, but I definitely don& #39;t feel good about that. That& #39;s the other thing, when will the UFC 5/
learn how to read a fucking room?? Most of your audience is out of work! Why is it a PPV? I am against streaming for many reasons, so I will not do that, but this is one time when I actually considered it. This shit has me divided. Straight in the middle. So what do y& #39;all think?
