From time to time I go through the thought experiment of what it would be like to move from macOS to Linux. "You can do it!" people say, but I am afraid I can't. I mean, I tried to go from Chrome to Firefox and couldn't even make that stick, because of... *scroll peformance*.

When I tally up the things — critical apps — I'd have to give up to move to Linux it just seems inconceivable that that amount of sacrifice could be justified. That sucks, because I hate feeling locked in. But at this point I feel like I'm stuck with Apple until death us do part.
