I have thoughts on this. They aren't about "politics" as much as "freedom", but out of respect for people who don't want to see it, I'll thread it below. Wading into this here is not my favorite thing, but I think this is important. https://twitter.com/sethgs/status/1247962546658660352
The irony of #VoteBlueNoMatterWho is that it's the EXACT reason Trump is president. I have many friends who #VotedRedNoMatterWhatHeSaid using the same logic.

"Sure, my guy sucks but I can't let it be their guy" is the devil's bargain of an assumed two party system.
But here's the beauty, we don't live in a two party system. Freedom is built into the voting process. Your vote's importance isn't based on if you vote for who wins, or even "who has a chance to win", because otherwise why even vote unless you live in a swing state?
Your vote's value is that it's YOURS. That YOU have a voice. It's yours to use however you see fit. There are things we could adopt to better empower this (cough, ranked choice voting, cough) but those in power love the two party illusion, because it helps to KEEP them in power.
Campaign for your candidate. Vote "strategically" if you like. Your vote is yours to use however you see fit. But don't belittle others while using faulty logic and assumed outcomes.

Your vote is yours. The beauty of it is when you realize how powerful that free choice truly is.
