As someone working for an MP can I point out that part of the £10k that many of you seem to think is for coke and strippers is for an office chair for my spare room (now part of a temporary constituency office) so my back doesn't crumble to bits. That's it.
The Times, as so often, can shove their reporting up their jacksy as we now have to deal with irate people furious because they think MPs are pocketing thousands, thus taking time away from trying to stop other folk from financial ruin.
The replies to this seem to indicate a crossover between folk thinking Bella Emberg rolls up with 10 grand in crisp fifties for every MP and folk who think 5G will cause dinosaurs to come back to life.
Although it has certainly exposed some folk who like to say they're of the 'left' as not actually giving a shit about workers, or at least only the workers they think are worth legal rights.
