a couple with children they are not allowed on their own garden...
Reading government legislation our PM @BorisJohnson has said ”You can still use your garden freely, considering it is a part of your own property and not a public place where risk of infection is heightened"...
Is this a case of overhanded authority?
Surely a couple with children in a two bedroom terrace house can use their own garden while observing social distancing measures.
The Government has stressed the importance of exercise and fresh air for the benefit of not just physical....
...but also mental health.
You can also see that on the @NHS website it also states 'you can use your garden if you have one'
This is the image of the front garden in question..

I'm sure that from the footage of the Pc in question it will be seen that this officer was aware where the family or children had been playing...not on the street or near to the footpath.
So why did the officer engage in confrontation when they was no violation?
Maybe someone would like to answer the posted tweet.
Is this overhanded policing?
Does this PC know the Government Legislature?

This was posted yesterday from SYP.
Maybe @Suptpmccurry can shed some light on this officers comments...
Persistent and blatant breaches of #Covid19 legislation by police officers also need addressing.
What is and isn't allowed should also be a priority with the correct info...
I would like to thank you for your reply
@SYP and @Alex_Stafford however these sorts of ill-informed overreaching actions are not what is needed...People are already frightened at the pandemic and are worried and these actions from those we have all clapped again tonight...
..Just cause more anxieties. I hope that these ill-informed uneducated police methods don't continue.
People are trying to stick to the rules the best they can while observing Government guidelines peoples lives have changed overnight, but these comments don't help matters.
