Once again Mallorie has been the inspiration for a lot of comics low key harassing her but because it's under the guise of "don't shoplift" people are liking them and putting them in my feed.

"This struggling trans woman made a cartoon where a cute animal shoplifted, this must be addressed immediately by everyone" is so weird and disgusting.

And then that ropes in other people who don't know the whole story and when they learn it it's "Well, I didn't know this was a harassment campaign, I just think shoplifting is wrong/New Guy was a wholesome meme and then it got corrupted, right?"

- Mallorie when she was a teenager. I was a teenager decades ago and she's older than me

The comic I saw especially got on my nerves because the idea behind it was the store clerk that "allowed" the literal cartoon character to steal got fired.
