"Be gay do crime" means to revolt against the government because of discriminatory circumstances not to steal from (at least non essential) stores just bc you can. Fuck corporations but think about employees working in the stores that can be punished for letting that shit happen.

Arts and craft stores are nonessential there is no need to steal pencils and markers and shit. Most of the time it's white people promoting their privilege by bragging about how much they steal. Poc get FOLLOWED around the store WHEN WE'RE INTENDING ON PURCHASING ITEMS.
