How can you tell the difference?

Well, gumroad will make this random number for the link. It's messy looking.

Now you can use link shorteners to hide these, but those still stand out. "Amzn to" for example.

There's nothing wrong with affiliate links, but you should be aware
If you see an older account with a bigger following, they're more likely to be trustworthy. Though not always.

If you sell thru affiliate links, be smart and be honorable.

If you burn people, eventually you'll get made. I don't need to share examples.
Everyone gets scammed at some point and to be honest, it's a good and necessary lesson to learn.
