~daily pokemon card thread~

day 1, secret rare pikachu from cosmic eclipse: this is a fairly new card and one of my personal favorites :D it's part of a 12 card secret rare set that i've completed!

day 2, full art jessie & james: full art trainer cards are my favorite kind of pokemon card and it's what got me into collecting again. This is a really popular card because of the big role these 2 characters play in the anime. you'll definitely be seeing more cards like this :)

day 3, base set mewtwo: this cards is from the first ever set of pokemon cards to come out, it's from1999! the card isn't in the best condition but to be fair it's older than me so i really can't say much . a base set holo will always be a card that collectors love, as do i

day 4, full art giovanni's exile: full art trainers are my main focus when collecting, i just love the way they look :)

day 5, light vaporeon from neo destiny: one of the other things i like collecting is eevee and all its evolutions (i mean who doesn't like eevee) and this card here is from a set that's very popular amongst collectors because it's old and has beautiful artwork :)

day 6, dark vaporeon from the team rocket set: yesterday we had light vaporeon so it's only right to counter it out with a dark vaporeon today . this card is from the year 2000 and it's still in very good condition! the artwork on this card is awesome, i love the purple water

day 7, full art koga's trap: there's not much to say about this card other than i love it , i really like the whole purple color scheme it has and that's why i put it in a purple sleeve (see third picture) and it just makes the colors pop even more.

day 8, erika's jigglypuff from the gym challenge set: here's a cute card you might like :) nothing really special but that doesn't matter because it's lovely

day 9, first edition base set machamp: i just got this card yesterday and it's a very special one, on the left there's a first edition stamp, this card is from the very first print run of the very first set pokemon ever made! and it's a holographic, this is a big milestone for me

day 10, full art diantha, so i didn't mean to get this card twice but i was haggling over the price of some cards and they threw in a diantha (that i already had) because they didn't want to go lower in price so i accepted it...now i have 2

day 11, full art piplup from cosmic eclipse: This is easily one of the prettiest cards i have in my collection imo. It's so bright and pretty and i love cards that have trainers on them :)

day 12, blaine's vulpix from gym heroes: this card isn't anything special, it's even just a common but i just really like the artwork :)

day 13, full art iris from plasma blast: This card would be one of my more expensive ones but if you look at the bottom left corner you can see it has some damage and because of that i got it really cheap! i'm really happy to have it because it's very colorful and pretty :)

day 14, Japanese togetic from neo genesis: so i just got this card yesterday and i'm so excited!! this is my first vintage japanese card! also i added a picture of the back of the card bc it's different to the new cards. this is one of my new favs for sure :)

day 15, full art aether foundation employee from hidden fates: so this card just arrived, i took pictures and now i'm typing this i saw this one a while back and i really liked it and finally found one for a fair price. I love cards like this :)

day 16, reverse holo pokemon trader from legendary collection: This set has the most unique holo pattern, it looks like fireworks on your card. it's very popular amongst collectors because it's so unique and old (from 2002) and i'm really lucky to have found this card! :)

day 17, japanese jigglypuff from southern islands: This is just a normal common card but the artwork is so fun i had to post it :)

day 18, full art shauna from XY: another full art trainer because i love them and this one's really cute :)

day 19, sabrina's abra from gym challenge: abra is one of my favorite pokemon and sabrina is one of my favorite trainers, put it together with a beautiful artwork and you get this lovely card :)

day 20, light flareon from neo destiny: i love eevee and any of it's evolutions and this artwork is just so pretty. the old cards definitely have prettier artworks, you just don't see them like this anymore for commons or uncommons. this one is so cute tho :)

day 21, dark flareon from team rocket set: we had light flareon yesterday so it's time for dark flareon today i like how there's different versions of pokemon like this, it makes it fun to collect :)

day 22, vaporeon from skyridge: the last sets WOTC made for pokemon the cards looked like this (you could scan the card with a Gameboy eReader) and these cards are very popular amongst collectors because they're old and rare. this card has a holo version but it's too expensive :)

day 23, full art janine from unbroken bonds: i really like the colors and this card, it's a really new card so that means the quality is really nice :)

day 24, nita from team up: this card is part of a 4 card set of which i own 3, i'm still looking for that last one. they're really cool to see together and i'll post them the next few days :)

day 25, morgan from team up: this card is from the same set as the card from yesterday, they have the same background and look really nice together. There are 2 more cards like this :)

day 26, evelyn from team up: so this is the last card i have of the little set of trainers that go together (see previous 3 days). i'm still looking for that last card to complete the set :)

day 27, hitmonchan from base set: holo rares from base set are always appreciated amongst collectors. base set is the first set to ever come out so you can never go wrong with this. It's not in great condition but it's older than me so it's fine :)

day 28, sabrina's porygon from gym challenge: i really like porygon because it's a very unusual pokemon and sabrina is one of my favorite trainers :)

day 29, secret rare mimikyu from cosmic eclipse: mimikyu is definitely one of my fav pokemon because it's so special, it's a bit scary and i like that. this is a really nice full art with a trainer so that's a card i have to have :)

day 30, full art brock's grit from evolutions: this full art trainer looks a bit different that the others but i still like it because it's brock :)

day 31, vaporeon from hidden fates: there's nothing really special about this card besides that it's really new and it looks very nice :)

day 32, secret rare koffing from cosmic eclipse: i never really like the way this card looks on pictures but i needed it to complete a set. when it arrived i was surprised bc it looks really good irl :)

day 33, bebe's search from mysterious treasures: i really like trainer cards and this one gives off a nice vibe, i like it :)

day 34, hala from guardians rising: i really like this full art, the artwork is very bright and the colors are beautiful :)

day 35, secret rare torkoal from cosmic eclipse: this is part of my little secret rare set and these cards are just so pretty and i love that they all have trainers on them as well :)

day 36, japanese totodile from sun & moon: this card is just a regular common but i love it because when i played pokemon soul silver on my nintendo as a kid i picked totodile as my starter :)

day 37, full art secret rare stoutland from cosmic eclipse: this is another one of those full arts and i just love how they all look, they're very new so they look really pretty :)

day 38, magikarp: i mean who doesn't like magikarp? it's a whole meme

day 39, snorlax from jungle: this is the oldest snorlax card out there and they're just chillin :)

day 40, giovanni's scheme from XY breakthrough: i really like giovanni, he looks all intimidating and badass and he's a really cool character :)

day 41, japanese vileplume from southern islands: the quality on these japanese cards is just insane, i really like the reverse holo on this it looks crazy good irl :)

day 42, delinquent from premium trainer's XY: i really like the vibes this card gives, it's a bit dark but the pokemon is being all cute at the same time, i like it :)

day 43, non-holo aerodactyl from fossil: this card is from the third set to ever come out and i think the artwork looks really cool, i hope to one day maybe own the holo version :)

day 44, ditto from ex delta species: ditto is my favorite pokemon so i try to collect ditto cards, there aren't a lot of them but i picked up this one and i like it a lot, the holo is this very deep green and irl it looks great :)

dat 45, japanese butterfree from southern islands: this is just a normal common but the artwork is so cute! also you don't really see this set often and that makes it extra special :)

day 46, full art hiker from hidden fates: hidden fates is by far my favorite recent set and it has some beautiful full arts like this one :)

day 47, espeon from neo discovery: espeon is my second favorite eeveelution and seeing as i collect eeveelutions i had to get this card :)

day 48, secret rare full art weavile from cosmic eclipse: this is part of that little set i have and it just love these cards, they have a trainer on them and they look gorgeous, it's basically all i look for in a card :)

day 49, japanese wartortle from southern islands: this card is so cute, it's always fun to see multiple pokemon on one artwork :)

day 50, here's tzuyu as a pikachu :p i'll be taking a break from this thread now because my exams start soon, i'll be back to this in a few weeks <3
