Btw the photograph in this thread shows Churchill aboard the HMS Prince of Wales during the Atlantic Meeting (Aug 1941) watching the retreating USS McDougal aboard which is President Roosevelt. From the Clementine Churchill Papers (CSCT 5/4/55).
