So, when you’re out clapping for the NHS tonight, you need to make 2 promises that you’re gonna keep:-
1) promise to stay in, except for essential travel, work or exercise
2) promise that you will do everything to ensure the NHS and its staff are properly funded in future

That means a national health and social care system that is properly resourced with the buildings, equipment and staff that it needs. Staff that are respected, treated well and paid properly. No more nurses having to use food banks. Enough is enough. No more.

2/

And that means lobbying your MP, signing petitions, going on marches (when this is over, obvs) & voting for the party that’s going to make this happen.
And if that means you paying a little bit more tax to make this happen then so be it.
3/

People are risking their lives to save ours. People are losing their lives to save ours. This is the least we can do.
4/

And if you don’t make those promises and just let everything go back to how it all was before? Well, for all it’s worth, you’re just a person standing on their doorstep clapping at the sky. And that’s just silly.
