Little easter project. I grabbed a bunch of beers I’ve never tried before and I’m going to score them all out of 100. #editas #beer
Started with this. Tried to follow the instructions but I think I shook it too much and made a little mess. Big mango + coconut hit. Fascinating drink. 77/100

I’ve been told it’s too early for the next beer
Thought we’d start Good Friday with something low alcohol. @hawkersbeer have made a real sour little sucker here. Love the acidity. Would go well with 35 degree heat and 90s hip hop. 75/100

Found a prop for this one! The watermelon is subtle and really just some background music to a terrific, refreshing, tasty beer. We’ve got an early leader
84/100 @BatchBrewCo

Tried to get Maui involved in the photo shoot for the Miners Gold West Street Ale. Pleasant whiff of banana, nice and bitter on the way down. Smart little beer. 78/100

The can said this beer was made for drinking outdoors. Happy to say it works perfectly well indoors as well. Hoppy, balanced, good beer. 80/100

Rounded out the day with this robust chap. It’s a whopper but the high alcohol content doesn’t completely dominate. Hoppy and bold. 81/100

Upset that her bother got all the attention yesterday, Homer demanded to be in the picture for the @blackhopsbeer Water Bomb
This salty, refreshing gose is a margarita in a can. Too much fun to drink in isolation. 78/100

This collaboration between Morrison & Du Cane is fun and packed full of guava goodness. Love the big can. 74/100

This one needed a soundtrack. I tossed up between this song and the clip of Barnaby Joyce complaining about the government being in his life. Either way, I like New England IPAs
82/100

Trying to expand my isolation skills beyond the remote control with a spot of cooking and I’ve found an extraordinarily accomplished companion. Full disclosure...I know a couple of the HBC guys but this beer is bloody great. Hoppy, refreshing, full of flavour. 85/100

If I drank more than a couple of these I’d go the same way as its namesake. A collaboration between Ocho and Deeds, this is a serious beer with ominous intentions. It’s good but maybe a bit too boozy. 78/100

So that’s my original batch done but I am going to keep this thread going to see how long I can go without drinking the same beer twice. Recommendations thoroughly welcome.
I’ve called for reinforcements and even found one in an odd glass thing just for @Van_Dieman. Not sure I can judge this impartially given I’m fond of the brewer but I’ll put that aside. This is a mighty flavoursome beer. 80/100

I feel like this PSA goes here #editas
There are unfair advantages and then there’s being paired with food from the Winston
This beer has a lot of fans for very good reason. It’s great. Plus it’s even got #editas roots. 85/100

How about this for a noble gesture...I arrive home today to find @MDance_ has left a little present for me in the mailbox
And this is a special beer. Hoppy, juiced-up and ready to rumble. 82/100

The bad news is I’ve run out of ways to take photos of beers, the good news is I haven’t run out of beers. This one is far too sophisticated for a novice like me to appraise. It’s pretty terrific. 84/100
@SierraNevada

Sun’s out, birds are chirping and I’ve presented this beer to the neighbourhood in my pyjamas. This is a long way from last night’s finisher. Refreshing though and tasty. 79/100
@TwoBirdsBrewing

A black IPA and a black cat who’s finally using her bed instead of a plastic supermarket bag. A few of these and I’d be curled up next to Homer. Delicious beer. Toasty, malty, hoppy. 81/100

Homer’s up and about and so am I because I love this beer. It tastes very Tasmanian. Whiff of honey, good hops. Don’t let the name mislead you, it stands out from the pale ale crowd. 85/100

@CatsOnTap here’s Homer wide awake
