I appreciate the optimism, like, I really do, and like, I get the point that the left can't give up hope, but it's hard for me to get excited about the "fight continues" posts which to me read as "we'll get socialism eventually, but a whole bunch of people are going to die first"

so to be clear, like, this isn't a doomer post, the world is going to change for the better, and like, I'm not saying people are wrong to be hopeful. I mean, like, I'm hopeful! in a low-key way. I just am also personally in a shitty mood about all of it.

and I've tweeted a lot less about political stuff lately. I usually tweet and retweet a lot more about a lot more goings on but I have been needing to distance myself somewhat from that for my own sake, which has been why I've tweeted a lot more about anime and Animal Crossing
