A Saida Drabble where Sana was rushed to the hospital and Dahyun went to the hospital immediately after buying a ring.

Dahyun was on the verge of crying and rushing through the hospital corridors. She came after buying something for her dear Sana which was currently in her pocket.

"Miss! May I know where Minatozaki Sana is? I'm her girlfriend"

"Room 406, just around the corner"

"Thank you so much! Thank you!" Dahyun exclaimed while running.

She opened the door and saw her. The love of her life, Minatozaki Sana who was currently wired to so many machines.

Dahyun was overwhelmed with emotions.

No way, she thought, it was way too early for Sana to pass. They were gonna take a trip around the world after graduating college then she'd propose where only the moon and stars would be the witnesses.

All that came out of Dahyun's mouth was a gasp and she immediately knelt by Sana's side and held her hand.

Why did the people who were great, loving or caring always get the worst treatment or had bad fortune? Sana was her pillar, her light in the dark, her first love who always cared and loved her. She couldn't imagine life without her by her side.

If it weren't for her cancer, maybe they would get married, own a house, have kids and grow old together

But with Sana almost lifeless on the hospital bed, Dahyun knew it was impossible to have all that with her.

Dahyun almost didn't even notice her 6 other friends in the room, who were all sad. They knew that their friends' relationship started mostly due to Dahyun's insisting. They witnessed the couple go through ups and downs together.

And they were about to witness the moment where the end was near for the two

"Sana, please no, don't go. It's way too early. I have so many things to do with you. I still have to propose baby. I already bought the ring. We promised that we'll get married so please baby, hang on even for a while"

Tears were already falling from her eyes and soon sobs were heard from Dahyun.

Sana's body was hurting and felt like it was on fire but her heart was hurting even more at the sight of Dahyun crying for her.

She wanted to hang on. She wanted to spend her lifetime with Dahyun by her side. Dahyun was the one for her, her soulmate. Dahyun might not be her first love but she would definitely be her last. Sana's first love, Momo was a story for another time.

Even though speaking only caused more pain on her body, Sana still did.

"Dahyun, I love you so much. I really do. I'll do my best to hang on love. I love you so much that words can't even describe how much I really do"

Sana rubbed soothing circles on Dahyun's hand while Dahyun merely looked at her with her red swollen eyes.

Dahyun suddenly took something out of her pocket. A small black box. Everybody knew what was in it and what was going to happen.

Sana was starting to weaken and could only nod as felt tears welling up in her eyes as Dahyun slipped the ring on her finger.

All their friends were starting to cry. These two have been through so much. They wished that the couple would have a happy ending where Sana would recover and all of them will be happy together

But alas, not everything would go the way they wanted it to.

Sana was starting to truly weaken. Her heartbeat was slowing, her eyes were drooping and her mouth could only mutter the words that everybody could hear.

"I love you Kim Dahyun. I love you my friends

And her heart stopped beating, the machine started beeping and everyone started crying harder.

Sana, their friend, Dahyun's fiancee, the clumsy goofball who never failed to make them laugh at their worst days was gone.

On that day, October 20 at 9:29 PM, Sana Minatozaki died. With a ring on her finger promising that she would be Dahyun's until the end of time and last words that were a reminder that Sana loved all of them.

The next few days were hard for all of them, especially Dahyun who wouldn't even go out of her shared apartment with Sana.

She stayed in there looking at all of her pictures with Sana and reminiscing about their times together.

She wanted to see Sana's bright smiles again. She wanted to hear Sana's laugh at her corny jokes and weird pick-up lines. She wanted to cuddle Sana while watching netflix. She wanted to hear Sana's nagging that Dahyun needed to take care of herself after doing a project all night

She just wanted Sana back.

There was little hope in her. That maybe it was all a prank. It would be a very sick joke but it was better than not having Sana by her side or in her arms.

After her friends' insisting, she decided to go to Sana's wake. After all it was still Sana, even if it was just her corpse, she couldn't resist Sana.

She was sitting silently when someone suddenly sat beside her. She could smell peaches from the woman.

The woman suddenly faced Dahyun and introduced herself.

"Hi, you must be Dahyun. I don't know if Sana ever told you about me but I'm Momo, Sana's childhood friend from Japan. Nice to meet you."
