Internet service provider (ISP) recommendation (for Lagos)

In these lockdown days, many need good Internet so let me share findings so far. Note: I have a battery of modems from Swift, Ntel, Smile, Glo, MTN, Airtel...

This morning had a chat with a friend who owns an ISP

He was gracious enough not to be biased in favour of his ISP.

Ideas are not mine. Tks to him!

Internet for private use or corp?

If fibre, go for Broadbase. If they are already in your area, cost won't be much.

If wireless, go for CityFibre. Cost will be an issue though.

Or Internet solution. Costly too.

But on individual plans:
Broadbase for Fibre,
Wireless, you would need to try out a couple to decide, starting with MTN Hynet

I asked him about FibreOne.

Instead of Fibreone, do Broadbase

I asked “why” and he replied “Buried cables are more stable”

Regarding Internet Solutions (IS) ( https://www.isint.ng/#1 ), he said:

“They have a licensed frequency, interference will be much lower.

Go with them or Broadbase”
