Does anyone recall when did NBA/INS etc., last speak out for safeguarding media freedom in the country ?
Covid 19 could be one of the biggest challenges of our lifetime- why can't media owners sacrifice ad revenues and help those in need ?

Statements of NBA/INS would have been credible today had they spoken out when Modi govt tried to financially squeeze through ad bans on Hindu, Telegraph, Rajasthan Patrika, Times of India, Gujarat Samachar to name a few during last six years....

Did NBA & Co issue any statement, condemnation when NDTV was slapped with so many cases & Prannoy Roy was raided by the CBI, ED etc ??
Recent statements of NBA & Co crying over a demand to stop govts ad spends during this global pandemic is totally heartless & inhuman

NBA & Co are today worried over their ( media owners) govt ads.
Why were they silent when senior journalists Punya Prasun Bajpai, Abhisar Sharma, Ajit Anjum, Vinod Kapri - to name a few were eased out of their respective channels.
So how do they claim to represent media ???
