As part of our response to #coronavirus, we have published new weekly data on the social impact of the #COVID19 pandemic.

Our new survey (beginning 20 March 2020) looks at people’s experiences and opinions of topics from social distancing to loneliness http://ow.ly/6RtN50z9Fuv
This analysis is published alongside our latest set of “faster indicators” data, looking at the impact of #coronavirus on the UK’s economy and society http://ow.ly/A6XL30qwvCA  #COVID19
Almost 90% of adults interviewed said they had increased the frequency of washing their hands with soap and water since the outbreak of #COVID19 http://ow.ly/kZQ230qwvDK
Just over 85% of people said they were “very” or “somewhat” worried that they or someone in their family would be infected by the #COVID19 virus http://ow.ly/qg3K30qwvF7
More than 83% of those aged 70 years and over said someone had offered to organise or bring food or other essentials if they need to self-isolate or become unwell http://ow.ly/Q14330qwvGC  #COVID19
While most said they have been informed by TV or radio, fewer than half of adults (47.8%) said they had enough information about the UK’s plan for dealing with #COVID19 http://ow.ly/o9eD30qwvHs
We have a new dedicated page for all of our new analysis related to the #coronavirus pandemic. Find out more http://ow.ly/jL5230qwvII
