Fun fact: Right before the Olympics, Brazil played a match against the "World All-Stars" in front of 78,000+ at Giants Stadium. R9 was awesome coming off the bench, but he was known as "Ronaldinho" (Ronaldão, a defender, was the original "Ronaldo" in those mid-90s Brazil squads).
Ronaldão went to J.League after the '94 World Cup, which meant he balled in this

He didn't go to the Olympics, though. Ronaldo Guairo did. He was a bit older than R9, so was listed as "Ronaldo"... and that's how "Ronaldinho" was at the Atlanta Olympics.
