A guide to the #IStandWithLesbianBabadook controversy for the uninitiated- the va for she ra reposted a meme made by a much smaller account without blacking out the username claiming it was a death threat- also posted to Instagram
The original meme was in the style of the Tony hawk race war tweet, and intended as a joke
The va replied to the original tweet saying the following. lesbianbabadook has gone private recently, and has under 300 followers in contrast to the va’s over 40k
The va’s husband has also joined in on trying to reach out to lesbianbabadook
In the end I’m not sure how the VA found the tweet- lesbianbabadook didn’t tag her or even mention her by name, and as stated previously lesbianbabadook only has around 300 followers right now. It certainly wasn’t sent directly to her in any way
