2. In the United States, those that have filed & qualified for unemployment (such as myself) will be receiving an additional $600/week for up to four months while this is going on. We also shall be receiving a stimulus check soon, which begins to roll out

3. next week in the amount of $1200 per person (provided you file your taxes "Single" and are not claiming any dependents, which can increase your total amount received). The amount goes down if you typically make above the threshold of $75,000/year - and can also fluctuate

4. based on a variety of other factors. I've linked the IRS website for COVID-19 Stimulus info at the end of this thread, and you should also do a quick Google search to read through some articles that break down the complexities of it should you have any questions or confusion.

5. I will also include a link at the end of this thread with a calculator designed to determine the potential amount of your stimulus payment and a link to an article with FAQs about the stimulus payments. Now, besides the information included thus far and within the sources

6. shared, I would like to also add a couple of things that you may not have thought of, and include an offer of assistance. Those that reside within the United States and do not have a Social Security number (such as undocumented immigrants, those born in strange

7. circumstances, any person whose personal information has been mismanaged by a government institution, etc.) are typically unable to qualify for the relief provided from the stimulus package and unemployment insurance. While there are protections in place regarding landlords

8. strong-arming tenants for rent during this ordeal, not everybody has access to that information, and a lot of landlords give zero fucks about being good to their tenants in this time of crisis anyways. So, while people like myself that are usually dirt-poor may have wound up

9. receiving enough assistance and lucky breaks to live comfortably through this unprecedented shutdown, others are not so lucky. Because our emergency medical & financial services are being taxed to their limit at the moment, the aid that many people desperately need

10. can be slow to come. So, beginning today, I am offering to assist those in need in any way I can to help weather the storm a bit. At the moment, I am only able to offer minor contributions, but beginning Friday, 4/17, I will be able to up my limit.

11. I also implore anybody else that has either unexpectedly found themselves above water or already had the means to assist others to do so. Whether that's donating to relief groups or individuals themselves, let's all come together in this effort. That being said -
