Rey taking Ben& #39;s hand at the end of TROS wouldn& #39;t have been morally wrong but actually a good strategic decision: A threadhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Sparkles" aria-label="Emoji: Sparkles">
First let& #39;s remember what Ben said: "We can bring a new order to the galaxy" WE! He obviously meant for Rey to have equal power and rule with him. In a perfect story this could have been achieved through marriage but since these two are dumb and share only one braincell,
I think they would have been co-rulers until they stopped being stupid and confessed their feelings. Now as to why it wouldn& #39;t have been morally wrong of Rey to take his hand: Rey herself. Rey has some pretty rigid values and even tho she has a dark streak, she& #39;s not cruel like
Ben (i love him but he& #39;s not merciful with anyone that isn& #39;t Rey and you know it) She would have done everything in her power to steer the FO in the direction that she wanted. She could have done changes from within that were beneficial to the galaxy in a way that wouldn& #39;t have
been possible with the Resistance. The FO is the biggest military infraestructure in the galaxy, imagine what could have been possible if Rey was partially in charge of it. And it goes without saying the influence she would have had in Ben. Now imagine how Palpatine returning
would have played. Instead of finding a galaxy torn apart, he would have found it healing and united. He wouldn& #39;t have stand a chance.
In conclusion, if Rey had been more of a Slytherin and less of a Gryffindor, things would have been very different.....end of threadhttps://abs.twimg.com/emoji/v2/... draggable="false" alt="✨" title="Sparkles" aria-label="Emoji: Sparkles">
