You can email/call governors or mayors, urging them to release inmates that dont absolutely need to be there. Clemency for the elderly and immunocompromised. Early release for non violent crimes. Early release for those within 18 months of their

release date anyways. Early release of any and all minors (that commited non violent crimes especially). There is no real way to prevent or control covid19 inside these facilities. Let people go home.

Again, we're looking at like mass death, mass murder, if they don't.

As for everyone else who isn't granted early or temporary release, how can we help them?

Maybe there can be some kind of donation system in place, where jails/prisons give cities a list of whats allowed and whats not. And we just send them care packages.

Americans dont csre about people in prison, and neither do the prisons. So its a long shot, but it can't hurt to ask. Keep raising awareness. Peace. Email your govs and mayors. The article in this thread has p solid templates for what to say and how to say it.
