Positive things about the lockdown: Most people obeying the rules, the planet being given a break, air & water pollution drops dramatically, being able to see & hear our wildlife far more, the amount of people realising you CAN work from home....
Bosses realising that maybe you don& #39;t need that expensive office & to make all your staff come into the office on shite overcrowded and expensive late trains and congested polluting roads?
Seeing MUCH more of your family. Digging out all your old games, games consoles, films, box sets etc. Those taking up gardening, those taking up outdoor exercise realising how daft it is to pay for a gym you drive to, to run or cycle on the spot?
Seeing your fellow citizens promoted from low skilled to key workers in an instant, being reminded how vital our public services are and how much they have been overlooked, underpaid & under appreciated?
Seeing how many other people have volunteered, set up support groups, looking after the vulnerable
Finding out that the people some classed as snowflakes actually aren& #39;t, and realising they give a shit and we will all be reliant on that generation, and that it& #39;s actually not only pretty switched on, resourceful but also has empathy?
Watching millionaires, multi millionaires & billionaires either hide or remind people of the behaviour & practices that have got them there, and actually, maybe they aren& #39;t to be looked up to as a shining example after all?
Cheeky dig: Not noticing Northern Rail has a reduced timetable
Your football team having the longest run of "undefeated" and "clean sheets" EVER
Enjoying taking the recycling & bins out and realising that they have been out more than you have!
Having a legitimate reason to not see the outlaws, and being as close as you ever want to be to some people... #sorrysocialdistancingmate
