when this is all over, and despite proportionate low grade fear every day, i can't be the only medic whose love of the actual clinical medicine and clinical decison making has been rekindled by all this as all the bureucratic crap has been swept away and we can focus on the job
also when this is all over, there is a huge lesson from the pandemic - that if you actually allow clinicians, clinician-managers and operational managers to crack on and do it for themselves without all the top town targets, terror, control freakery and interference it delivers
but the obsessional heavy handed "command and control" news management (although i understand the reasons entirely) from the top - Oy Vey!
And some reflection on whether certain other national bodies have been too controlling at the expense of agility
