now that VALORANT is relatively public, there's just one thing about it I wanna say (thread)

when I was first onboarded to this game a while ago (coached by the legend excal himself), my instant reaction was "wtf this is just OW x CS, why would I want to play this?"....
then once I actually got my hands on the game, it just felt so fresh when you blended the different elements together. I was pretty much addicted after the first day of playtesting and I still enjoy playing CB today
so I just wanted to say, I was definitely in the same boat as a lot of the people watching these streams and wondering what's so special? why are there so many #ad looking tweets praising the game?

i think it's one of those games you just gotta play and feel
once y'all get beta access, or once the game is launched, i hope you take VALORANT for a test drive

you may still hate it, and that's fine. not every game is designed for everyone

but maybe you'll find out yourself why your favorite streamer is shilling the game so hard
also for context: i was never competitive in any shooter, but I've logged hundreds of hours in OW, TF2, MW2, and 1.6 each.

Not trying to say I'm good, but just saying I do enjoy all aspects of the FPS genre so hopefully that gives you an idea of where I'm coming from with this
