Hate the anger-go-round that comes from different cycles of public dragging.

But these celebs can it call you poor because Nigerians have proven their poverty again, and stretched out hands for crumbs in the most entitled and demeaning ways.

Yes. That's the data you provide.
Naira Marley tweets about giving money to draggers, and you'll see the people who had fire and brimstone in their veins, automatically drop their campaigns, and become Bambiala the enthusiasts.

Of course you are poor. And they have money that you need, so they can call you poor.
Worst part is that a number of these artists don't really have money like that. A lot of them still have to go do their own level 'begging' and asking for 'giveaway'. But you don't see that because you are actually 'poor' and without shame or self-respect.
I'm all against poverty-shaming. It shouldn't exist. But don't act like even you, if the people begging you for money daily begin to try to criticize you, you won't remind them of their lowly station in relation to theirs. Garbage in, garbage out.
So when next you drop your account number, when you aren't exactly in any special need, or wildly solicit irresponsibly in comment sections, know that it will be used against you on the day when that celebrity misbehaves. You've clearly shown your level, they will drag you back.
Giveaways are meant to be a beautiful act of charity. But your entitlement has diminished the entire process, and made it mindless begging. Now that it's being pointed out in the most disgusting way, everyone is up in arms.

Well, do better. Everyone. Do better.
