Hey so, I might be enlisting the help of some of my readers for Pure Feeling soonish? Mostly in terms of making sure I'm appropriately conveying the diversity I want to keep writing for.

It's very important to me that I portray different cultures/backgrounds correctly and though I am doing research on my own, I would LOVE additional input from people who have firsthand experience

I know I've mentioned that Catra is Puerto Rican and Glimmer is Filipino, but really that's where it mostly stops - at just quick mentions. Though they still won't be the center focus of the plot, I do want to better incorporate those cultures into my fic

-and giving more representation where I can.

I also have some other characters I may need help with soon enough (though currently I'm stilling making decisions on those)

For instance, I know that Mermista is Indian (as she's heavily-coded in the actual show)

But after some research I found that apparently there's North/South Indians. So if anyone has any heritage there, I'd love your help/advice as well!

Some other possible cultures/ethnicities I might be including are Arabs and Native Americans

Sorry this thread got so long, but this is something very important for me and I understand that with my limited knowledge and lack of bg in any of these cultures, this is a feat that is difficult for me to do on my own.
