i don& #39;t tweet about stars align a lot but since getting andy to watch it it& #39;s been on my mind like,,, a lot. for an anime i chose to watch simply because i like tennis it was,, really enlightening

i definitely didn& #39;t expect it to tackle topics like abuse and LGBT identities in the ways that it did but i& #39;m so glad it did,, i learned so much from watching it, so much about stuff that i never go through in my daily life because i& #39;m just,,, lucky that i ended up where i am.

if you haven& #39;t watched stars align, i HIGHLY recommend it. obviously a big trigger warning as it tackles topics like abuse in. very real and painful ways that i definitely didn& #39;t expect going in completely blind but. it& #39;s a really enlightening experience and i really recommend it

i can& #39;t say i& #39;ve ever seen an anime that tackles the topics hns does as WELL as hns does,, especially considering that it& #39;s a sports anime in every definition of the genre. hns is about a middle school tennis club trying to keep from getting shut down. that& #39;s the gist of it.

despite being about tennis, there& #39;s a lot that& #39;s special about it said in the tweets above. it& #39;s a really different anime in a lot of ways,,, i can& #39;t say much more bc i& #39;ll be repeating myself but even if you don& #39;t like sports anime please give hns a shot, you won& #39;t regret it.
