WHAT LATINOS ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT WHEN YOU SAY “LATINOS”? WHICH ONES? WHO?

Latino isn’t even an ethnicity. An Embera person and I are both Panamanian. We may not even speak the same language. What ethnicity then? Latino means absolutely nothing.

If you are not talking about race after you whisper “Latino,” you’re not talking about anything. Y’all were fine getting away with it before but not now. Not on 2020 Anita Baker’s Internet you won’t. And never more.

Consistently/across the board if we are talking about topics such as oh I don’t know: UNEMPLOYMENT, ACCESS TO HOUSING, EDUCATION, LABOR MARKET, MATERNAL & INFANT OUTCOMES, INCARCERATION, MENTAL HEALTH, FEMICIDE just to start off light. What SPECIFIC Latinos are hit hardest? Eh?

U.S. Luhteenos are the worst I swear.

So a white Cuban living in a HUGE house, car paid for by the Cuban gov, their white kids enjoy the free university w/no daily panic on their next meal has the same life expectancy as a Black Cuban living in the overcrowded hood wondering if they will eat twice in one day? Goodbye

Now let’s say they BOTH move to the U.S. Been living there for 10 yrs. Are integrated into the U.S. system. Those stats gon be uniform? Also consider HOW they got to the U.S. The white one Bc it’s an option &/or exiled cuz corruption. The Black ones? Bc there is no other option.
