I totally understand the plight of the Bernie supporter and the feeling of being disenfranchised at this moment. I know that Joe Biden is not a historically liberal Democrat, and I know that for many my age, him being the nominee is repulsive. But here is what I also know...

I know that Donald Trump has been the most hateful, the most disparaging, and arguably most destructive President in United States History since James Buchanan. After Charlottesville, Trump created a moral equivalence between neo-nazis and those courageous enough to fight back.

I know that Ruth Bader Ginsburg is 87 years and Stephen Breyer is 81. While Biden hasn't had a perfect record on SCOTUS' appointee's, his will be far better than Trump's. Trump's reelection would be a nail in the coffin for the next 40-50 years of liberal politics.

I know Biden isn't everyone's favorite, but no primary election yields everyone's favorites. At some point in our life, we have to work with what we got, and now we have a decision to make. The soul of our country lies in our hands. #TeamJoe #ThankYouBernie #NeverTrump #
