On average, I write 10, multi-thousand word blog posts every month.
I've done ghost writing for some of the biggest names in the SEO industry and released over 450 of my own blog & guest posts across the industry over the course of 7 years.
This thread is to give you some tips on writing high quality posts in seriously short timeframes - Right now is one of the best times to be writing content, especially with all the free time at home. And you can create long term assets that'll earn you passive income every month.
Tip #1 - Create A Calendar
Create a topical content calendar that you can use to interlink posts and keep users on your site, as well as bolster the topical authority of your domain. Doing things one post at a time won't cut it for most niches anymore, you need to be an authority
Tip #2 - PreFormat Your Posts
I do this in the most simple of ways.. I create my initial headers and either start writing the first paragraph underneath or just stick "blah" as a very British lorem ipsum alternative.
Tip #3 - Automate Your SEO (kindof)
You can use plugins like RankMath & LinkWhisper to auto-suggest internal linking ideas in WordPress, or use InLinks by @Dixon_Jones for any CMS.
You can use @surfer_seo to give world SERP analysis that gives ideal world count & keyword averages
Tip #4 - Steal Your Competitors Stuff
When I go into a niche and want a bunch of supporting content ideas instantly, I just run my competitors blog URLs through @ahrefs and sort by volume and keyword difficulty 0 - 1.
I then create better SEO'd content.
Tip #5 - Convert Podcasts & Videos Into Blog Posts
The easiest way to produce content en masse quickly, is to turn educational videos into content.
Turn a review of a product into a written review, turn a podcast interview into a blog post..
Tip #6 - Do Featured Images In Bulk
Either have a designer pre-made all your featured/social graphics for every blog post OR have them create a template you can easily change the text and colours on to keep things fresh.
Tip #7 - Reuse Your Meta Description
It's an ideal practice to write a meta description for SEO purposes.. hut you can also reuse it for your social cards, shares and blog excerpt.. Rather than writing a unique one for each.
