ACT COVID-19 update 9 April:

1 new case; man in his 50s who got it OS.

In total ACT's recorded 100 cases, and 2 people have died.

3 people are in hospitals.

Good news: 54 people have recovered, more than half of all people confirmed with COVID-19 in #Canberra.

1 case is still under investigation, as ACT Health awaits test results.

A/ACT Chief Health Officer Dr Vanessa Johnston thanked Canberrans for their efforts to help flatten the curve, and says we need to keep it up over the Easter long weekend.

A/CHO Johnston: "Please stay home this Easter long weekend. Do not travel to the coast or interstate or gather in large groups with family and friends," and if you need to go out for essential reasons, practice distancing and good hand/respiratory hygiene. #canberra #covid19aus
I'll add to this (and this is me not the CHO) but the call to #StayAtHome in #Canberra couldn't be clearer. South Coast towns don't have the resources, and are all but begging you not to travel. Places outside Canberra, eg Sydney, have cases of community transmission. Stay home.
