I can't keep quiet on how problematic #Fauci's comments were.
1) Black and brown people aren't more likely to get infected? Really? Even when they are more likely to have jobs that require them to be on the frontlines, take public transportation or live in higher density areas.
2) So we are just born with higher rates of hypertension and diabetes? The systemic racism that has led to decades of food deserts, gentrification, housing deprivation and inadequate school funding has absolutely nothing to do with these disparities.

3) Once this is over,
we are going to have to do something to address these disparities? Because it's not a priority to address this and we can spare to lose tens of thousands Black and brown people in the meantime.

As someone who worked in Africa during the HIV epidemic, it's very easy
for our deaths to be ignored. If we can't get the stats federally, we must demand that it from our states, our cities, our hospitals.

For those of us not on the frontlines, this is our fight. For everything we do, we must ask is it available for all races, languages & incomes.
